What a fabulous night!
Dunstable In Bloom were extremely proud to hold their annual awards evening on the 24 September, 2025 at the Peter Newton Pavillion.
This year the group of volunteers held their annual competition to encourage residents, businesses, care homes and schools to showcase their gardening skills and community projects.
For the first time ever, they received sponsorship from a number of local businesses and organisations, which enabled them to greatly increase their visibility across the town as a group, as well create an incentive for applications to this years category awards. Our headline sponsor was Deakin-White Estate Agents who came on board to support our community group as they recognise the importance of outdoor space and the positive impact it has on wellbeing.
Winners of each category received a £30 gardening voucher, with second and third places each receiving vouchers for £15. The three schools received vouchers for £20 each.

We thank everyone else who supported both the Dunstable In Bloom and Anglia In Bloom campaigns this year, particularly Karen Linley at Tesco Extra Dunstable for her donations to our fundraising efforts; Russell Kelly at Octave Music Dunstable for the loan of the PA equipment for the awards night; Diane Quick at the Quadrant Centre for her contribution to the Anglia In Bloom campaign and provision of £500 towards additional floral displays throughout the shopping centre.
We look forward to 2026 where we hope to be even more visible in our community and have even more residents, schools and businesses join us in this local competition.
